Dr. Cole Boerema
General Dentist
Dr. Boerema grew up near Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he attended college and met his wife Meg (a real Minnesotan). He then completed his dental degree at the University of Minnesota.
Throughout his career as a general dentist, Dr. Boerema has participated in a variety of continuing education courses, clubs, and mentorships.
Like all of the dentists at PDG, Dr Boerema believes in a life long approach to dental care. This begins with a thorough examination and assessment, then incorporating his patients’ personal factors into their treatment plan. Whenever possible, several options are discussed so that risks, benefits, and differences can all be understood before definitive care is provided.

Dr. Boerema and his wife are frequent visitors to the bike trails, lakes, and coffee shops around the Twin Cities.
The Boeremas have three high energy children.
Dr. Boerema has recorded one hole-in-one and one broken window on the golf course; he considers this juxtaposition an accurate reflection of his golf skill.

Dr. James Watson
General Dentist
Dr. Watson is a native of Rochester, MN. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska. Dr. Watson furthered his dental education by entering an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. This program provided him advanced training in fixed (crown & bridge), removable (dentures), and implant dentistry. He is an active member of the Spear Comprehensive Dentistry Study Club.
Dr. Watson is a fourth generation dentist following the footsteps of his great-grandpa, grandpa, and aunt. His mother is a retired dental hygienist. Growing up surrounded by dentistry has taught Dr. Watson the importance of patient relationships. He strives to learn the desires of each patient and tailor his treatment to meet their unique needs so that they may keep all of their teeth for a lifetime.
When away from the office, Dr. Watson can be found bike riding, hiking, skiing, and wakeboarding. You may also find him attempting to play golf. Unfortunately, he has not been blessed with the Watson golf genes; they apparently all went to Tom and Bubba. He is also an avid Nebraska Cornhusker Football fan. Go Big Red!
Dr. Watson is the “middle” child of a medical family. His oldest sister Jennifer is a veterinarian in Rochester. His sister Michelle is an optometrist at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis. Lastly, his identical twin brother is an ophthalmologist in St. Louis, MO.
